This just HAD to be commemorated on the web, I'm afraid.
My antipodean compatriot and gig buddy Mr Paul Bird today was sporting the most impressive of moustaches, as was proper for a work cricket match. Sadly, the magnificence of the effort was lost on many of those present as “80's Australian fast bowlers” isn't typically the special topic of interest around these parts.
But definitely reminiscent of D K Lillee. Paul Bird, we salute you.
