Somehow it seems that all's right in the world when I know that from the bus stop outside my work I can catch buses to Strood, Hoo, Cuxton, the Isle of Grain, and my personal favourite, Snodland.

Backing up this theory, there was a story on Ananova today where a roofer in Germany was mistaken for a suicide jumper, and is now potentially facing a fine for wasting emergency services' time. Of course he didn't realise that he was the focus of a resuce attempt, because he was on the phone to his girlfriend the whole time.
