Right, well that's me away to the snow then ! A bunch of us are off to Kaprun, in Austria, for a week of gravity-fed snow+plank related adventures, and hopefully this year I'll get around to blogging about it.
As Richie pointed out yesterday, there's a website called Metcheck which does all kinds of funky weather data, and one of them's a risk level indicator, from green (for “lovely, nice, go outside and have fun in the park”) to red (for “OH MY GOD, GET IN YOUR CELLAR AND PUT A BLANKET OVER YOUR HEAD AND START GETTING READY TO FOLLOW THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD”).
On the basis of yesterday's report, it seems like the ideal time to head off into the mountains in another country for a week.
