Somehow relevantly, Ross Noble was discussing super powers and mentioned that the least-useful super power would be the ability to piss fire. I say "discussing" - somehow as an audience-member you couldn't help but not feel directly involved. Unless you were one of the people who came in late, of course - and you'd have to be some sort of idiot to be late to a Ross Noble gig...

Admittedly the power to teleport would probably counteract the need to vaporise random stoppers, however in my own defence, everyone who I've mentioned stopper-vaporising to here has had their eyes light up and remarked "Oh yes!", which I'm going to put down as the King's Cross Station effect.

I'm sure the complication thing is not *really* a super power, but just a series of coincidences. Coincidences, of course, happen more often than you think.

Although you do start to wonder when, for instance, you're in an airport security queue, which moves smoothly through without incident, and then the bloke in front of you gets stopped for something and it involves loads of staff, and all of the surrounding security queues end up getting processed while I'm still stuck there in the only one with an issue.

Even shower doors need cleaning regularly. This would mean that in order to get in the washer you'd need to get smashed frequently.

As you correctly state, birds are ambivalent about flying (pigeons often can't even be bothered doing it, and would rather walk in many cases), however the one thing they covet is the ability to play Wii tennis.

Your daily mugshot is really scaring me.

What happened to your corporate looking site?

It's a very kick arse list. I am impressed.

The fact that this seems to be in countdown-order-preference worries me a little. What sort of sicko would rather have the power to vaporise annoying people (which I admit, does have a certain appeal) than teleport or fly???

I have to say, this is pretty much my favourite Top Ten Superpower list of all time. +100 Internets for the 'Allo 'Allo reference.

Also, re being able to innately introduce complication to journeys - I too have experienced this mysterious superpower of yours. It's an awesome sight to behold.

- Qüntley

I can turn water into beer by pouring it into the sink and then pouring some beer into its place. I can report from the front-line that it is not all it's cracked up to be. Because everyone does it. And if everyone has a cool superpower it is no longer a cool superpower and just, like big deal yeah? I feel sorry for birds, because for them flying must be so unremarkable.

I would prefer being able to transform myself into a stiff glass shower cabinet door. That way, I wouldn't keep being placed in the washing machine.
