Well whaddya know, it wasn't a complete irreversible cockup – I think I owe Bop a lobster dinner! She very kindly abdicated from her place in the party and offered me her ticket, based largely on the fact that she doesn't mind much either way about seeing them.

So I *AM* going to see Muse on Thursday after all.

Having also just missed going to see them last night in Birmingham NIA (tickets now live somewhere in my desk) due to the wife being unwell I can under stand your pain, but take comforted in the fact the the last album wasn't as great as all the others. and that if every one seems to be missing the gigs the turn out must be comical.

I had always wondered why there were empty seats at big sold out gigs, I now know why.

also its never to late to sell them on ebay ;) or a last minute gift ;)
