Adelaide’s finest “come as you are” pokie-free musical drinking hole. The bar’s always replete with an eclectic mix of regulars and there’s plenty of room for all. There are few more chilled out places to grab a pint of the Cooper family’s best and either get stuck into listening to one of the excellent local bands playing out the back, head out to the beer garden, or prop up against the front bar for a bit of banter & philosophising with interesting characters.
If you’re not big on chatting, there’s always the pool table, or people who are into looking at stuff on walls will more than likely get a buzz out of the amazing collection of random ephemera that seems to occupy nearly every flat surface of this place. My personal favourite was the rotating Anne Wills lampshade.
