It's been AGES since I went to an in-person whisky tasting, but what a great way to dip back in – @thedusties put together a genuinely excellent Stauning Danish Whisky session last night, led by the lovely @stauningwhisky_hans and the legendary @ali.is.out.stauningLike Ali, my head was incredulously turned by the superb Maple Syrup cask Rye – I SHOULDN'T like it, BUT IT REALLY WORKS! YUM!Great whisky, great folk, great story. And to think it all happened because @martin_vesterby heard a documentary on his car radio! If he'd been listening to the shipping forecast, I'd have had to stay home!
