You don't often see Cheese & Marmite Fries on a menu… And now I know why that is.

As @ben_cops correctly pointed out, I haven't posted a "proud dad" shot of any of the beer @adrianbryers and I made – so here's a bottle of Batch 2 I opened the other night and didn't pour particularly carefully: a very tasty @fullers ESB style ale, using Target, Challenger and Northdown hops. Such a rewarding feeling to drink beer you've made yourself, and even more so when it's not shite!
Just cos I only ever seem to make whisky cocktails, and it's nice to find something else to do with gin, last night I made a Rhubarb Leaf from @mrlyan 's wonderful book. And a huge mess.

When I bought this Amaryllis last year the bloke in the shop went to great lengths to explain that you need to take the bulb out of the soil over winter, and you get one flower every 2 years.We forgot to do that.What does it all mean?
