Good example of the nonconformist comedy that the Coen brothers are renowned for. The sad truth however is that this is one of those “Jason” films that got watched post-bedtime, and so definitely involved falling asleep/rewinding and definitely losing grip on elements of the plot at times. Pretty sure I enjoyed it though.
I’m all for an apocalyptic nightmare, and this bit featured some particularly strong facets – however what DOES leave my cheese out in the wind is this modern predilection for stories that don’t really have a conclusion. Less a story, and more of a series of things happening.
